Dr. Richard Smith has extensive senior leadership experience from the United Kingdom, having worked in the law enforcement sector for the past 15 years. He is a Fulbright Scholar, who enjoyed a six-month period of teaching and research at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in 2018 – 2019.
Richard’s research interests include police reform, police leadership, and organisational culture. He has published extensively in international journals and acts as a peer reviewer for a number of high-profile publications in the Criminal Justice sector. Richard is a graduate of the University of Portsmouth and Warwick Business School. He is currently studying for an MBA at the University of Northampton, UK.
