Ryan O’Neill is the consummate professional police officer. For nearly twenty years, Ryan served his community with honor and integrity. His particular interest is in discovering leadership principles and practices that build a positive work culture for the men and women who serve with him.

Leading by example is his strongest characteristic. In 2015, he was one of the first among his peers to volunteer in The HEROES Project, a training program focused on testing the possibility that PTSD, depression, and anxiety can be prevented. Because he stood center stage in support of individual self-development, a number of his peers also participated in the research. When he faced professional trauma in 2019, the psychological skills he learned became instrumental to his determination to live.

He is a loving husband and father of three beautiful sons.
